On the 24th of August, 2022, the Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning (CETL) organized a workshop with the 42 club leaders from 21 clubs on “Strengthening Leadership Skills for the Club Leaders” for the betterment of club activities and sharpening of leadership skills, this time at the permanent campus of Green University of Bangladesh. The Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, along with the Facilitators of CETL, Ms. Arifa Rahman, and Ms. Sanzeeda Munir Prova, led the attendees through various activities that honed their leadership and collaborative qualities. Respected associate chairpersons of the permanent campus, Dr. Mohammad Afzal Hossain Khan, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office, Prof. Dr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, assistant director, Student Affairs of the permanent campus, Campus Director Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aminur Rahman, and the club moderators were also present at the event.
The workshop contained activities such as puzzle solving, wooden block towers, visualizing club identities through drawings etc. The Facilitators carried out then, rather remarkably, 8-hour long workshop from start to finish in a very lively atmosphere thanks to their insightful authoritative but welcoming individuality.
At the end of the workshop, club leaders were honored with certificates and CETL received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants over what was a highly innovative and effective workshop. #GreenUniversity #CETL #workshop #club
