Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning of the Green University of Bangladesh had organized the "GIFT Project Final Presentation" event for the 7th and 8th Batch at 3.00 PM, October 22, 2021, on the Online Platform, Zoom. The program was open for all, and hundreds of people attended and viewed the program on Facebook Live and the Zoom platform.
Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Golam Samdani Fakir; Chairperson of EEE & Director of CETL Dr. ASM Shihavuddin; Prof. Dr. Ratil H. Ashique, Director CRIT, and Associate Professor, EEE; Sirajum Munira, Director, Language Center; Biplob Kanti Das, Deputy Director, CCD were among the panelist.
As part of the GIFT project, the participants had to present their project to the honorable panelist. For the past year, the participants working on five different groups presented their dream projects that they have been working on for the last year to transform their own community’s problems. The event started with the groups presenting their project to the panel guests. In their presentation, the groups demonstrated their experience and the overall evaluation of the project in front of all.
A lively conversation between the facilitator and the participants brought out the unspoken desires of Green University students to transform their society. Students were very enthusiastic to join the GIFT project and become a transformer of themselves and rest. At the end of the session, the participants clarified their queries regarding their presentation from the panelists. A high rating from the participants and their best wishes for CETL makes the whole workshop series a success.
Then, the honorable Vice-Chancellor of the Green University of Bangladesh, Prof. Dr. Golam Samdani Fakir, gave his speech encouraging and inspiring the GIFT 7 and 8 batch students to create a positive change in society through their project works. Later, Chairperson of EEE & Director of CETL, Green University of Bangladesh, Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, made his remarks for the participants and hoped to see more good projects from the GIFT students in the future. After that, Prof. Dr. Ratil H. Ashique, Director CRIT, and Sirajum Munira, Director, Language Center; Biplob Kanti Das, Deputy Director, CCD, made their remarks on the presented project works. Finally, at the end of the event, the GIFT program coordinator and Assistant Professor, Ms. Arifa Rahman, gave her closing remarks thanking the panelist of the event and inspiring the participant groups to continue to work with their dream project in the future.
