Orientation Program of Pre-University English Language Certificate Course


Language Center
 and the Department of English, Green University of Bangladesh have jointly offered a Pre-University English Language Certificate Course” for students who have completed their H.S.C. The course will be facilitated by the respected faculty members of both the Language Center and Dept. of English. 
In this regard, an Orientation Program has been organized on September 17, 2021 at 07:30 pm where registered students were welcomed, introduced to the course facilitators, and given a brief on the course details. 

 

The program began with the welcoming speech by Ms. Serajum MuniraAssistant Professor, Department of English and Director of Green University of Language Center. She explained how significant it is to learn English and how this course can be considered as a fundamental course before their university admission. She highly appreciated their willpower to join Pre-University English Language Course.

 






Afterwards, all the course facilitators introduced themselves with the aspirants and welcomed them for joining the course.

 

In addition, Mr. Md. Zohorul Islam, Lecturer, Department of English, gave an overview of the course along with eligibility criteria for the successful completion of the course for getting certificate.


Moreover, there was a lively question answer session run by the faculty members. The students asked several questions on the course, its significance, admission process of the university and many more. All the course facilitators took part in answering their queries.

 

Finally, Mr. K. M. Wazed Kabir, Chairperson, Department of English, Green University of Bangladesh, made concluding remarks. Our Chairperson Sir began his speech by sharing the necessity of English language to survive in the global context. In addition, he shared lots of examples to make them understand the significance of the Pre-University English Language Course which is a great initiative taken by Green University of Bangladesh. At the end, Sir clarified to them that they should attend the classes regularly and take the best out of this course for their future endeavors.
