Workshop for Students: Introducing CETL and Internship Benefits

As a part of the series workshop, CETL, GUB has arranged its 2nd workshop of the session titled “Introducing CETL and Internship Benefits” on Saturday, 14th August 2021 from 7:15 to 8:15. Director of CETL, lead facilitators of CETL, Interns, and nearly 70 participants were present at the workshop. Information about CETL and its work area as well as the internship opportunities at CETL was discussed. The workshop was facilitated by Md. Hafiz Sikder, research assistant and event management intern of CETL. Md. Hafiz Sikder is an engineering student currently pursuing his BSc in EEE from the department of EEE, Green University of Bangladesh. He has been working in  CETL since 2020 as a research assistant and event management intern. He has been awarded the Brightest Minds Scholarship 2 times for his contribution to the CETL. He was the honorary resource person for the BYFC training program in 2019. He has served as the Cultural Secretary for EEE Club and Dance Related Secretary for Cultural club parallelly for consecutive 2 years. He is one of the Ashar Alo Scholarship winners for his participation in the GIFT Project. He wants to be a robotics expert as well as an educationist in the near future.

He shared a few tips for future applicants who want to do an internship at CETL. Internship supervisor

Ms. Arifa Rahman said, “We want to engage our students and provide them with the best opportunities

possible for flourishing.”The director of CETL said, “We are a family here and we want to give all of you this opportunity to be a part.”


In their feedback, a participant said, “We are very much eager to be an intern of CETL”. One-third

of participants in the workshop showed interest to join as an intern at CETL. After completing the

workshop most of the participants were able to describe what CETL does and offer and Internship

benefits which is a major achievement of the workshop. More than 80% of participants found

the workshop fruitful. The session concluded with a warm welcome to the future interns.
