Green Initiative for Future Transformation (GIFT) program, Batch 2 (Green Young Researchers) launched a project where building a community to give guidelines and other necessary direction for young researchers toward research work was major focus. As a part of GIFT project, students initially organized a Panel Discussion on Roadmap for Young Researchers on 18th April, from 3.30 PM to 5.30 PM where almost 100 students and several teachers were present. In that session, Prof. Dr. Helal Uddin Ahmed, Chairperson of Green Business School discussed about very basic concept about research. In the second session, Dr. Md. Shariful Alom Sir, Associate Professor of Textile Department, GUB mainly focused on why the research is important for us and career opportunity as a researcher in Bangladesh, even in abroad. Participants seemed interested in research after his talk about different global career opportunity. In the last session, Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, Chairman of EEE, Green University of Bangladesh focused on how to start the research from very begin to publishing paper. Ms. Arifa Rahman, Assistant Professor of CETL and GIFT program coordinator appreciated the students for the work they demonstrated in this project. Lastly, with a very warm and hearty speech was given by Dr. Golam Ahmed Faruqui, Dean of Faculty of Business Studies and Director of MBA program.
This was a successful webinar and was one of the finest one as the active participations of students was make the session lively.
