Certificate in Teaching and Learning at GUB: Step towards Quality & Excellence (CTL) for 19th batch started on 9 February 2021. The course was completed successfully by 21 teachers on 4 June 2021. Several areas of teaching in higher education were covered in this course including three contemporary workshops. At the end of the course, an intensive evaluation process in four phases was carried out to assess the learning. The respected new teachers at GUB who were the participants of this course delightfully acknowledge the contributions of this course for their teaching and future career.
The course contents were How to prepare an effective lesson plan, Teaching Philosophy Statement, Application of Bloom’s Taxonomy for writing learning objectives, Educational Theories and Technology Inclusions, Bloom Taxonomy: The Tool for Questioning, Rubrics for Assessment, Assignment rubrics set up, Assessment Process and Technology Inclusion: Group & Individual Presentation and Stream discussion, Google form exam etc, The Art of Preparing Learner- Centered Course Syllabus, Managing Students’ Disruptive Behavior online, Advanced Online Classroom Conduction with Participation: Prezi, Plagiarism and authenticity check of online Assignments/ quiz/ assessments: Using Turnitin, Content Creating and Development for Online Classes, How to make online class interactive (Use of Mentimeter, Padlet and Kahoot in online class), Concepts of basic research And Writing Research Proposal, Branding our work for better career/ e-portfolio, Mindful Teaching and Learning, Micro-teaching and Simulation
