Green University of Bangladesh has celebrated the International Women`s Day 2021 with much enthusiasm. The online program was organized by Green University Language Center and GUB Women's Empowerment Forum.
This celebration took place on 08 March, 2021 at 6:30 pm. Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, honorable treasurer Prof. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, respected Chairpersons were present and shared some of their words at the celebration.
Respected female faculty members, administration members and staff were present and shared their comments regarding the day`s context. Wonderful cultural performances were presented both by our faculty members and students.
A short film titled as দ্রৌপদী আখ্যান, screenplay and directed by Laboni Akhter, lecturer, GULC was screened at the program. A significant number of male faculty members and male students was witnessed at the program which was appreciated wholeheartedly. This year`s theme was #choosetochallenge and everyone present at the celebration raised their right hand above to unite and to take the oath of the theme of 2021.
